Neither format is universally better. They solve different problems, and the right answer may change as your experience grows.
What one-to-one training changes
The session can be built around one person's history, goal and current response. Exercise setup, load and progression can change without waiting for a group.
At Tempo, the appointment is always one to one. Other people may be elsewhere in the building, and a private section can be used for the session where appropriate.
What boutique classes offer
Classes can provide energy, variety and a fixed timetable. They may suit someone who already understands the movements and enjoys training beside other people.
The trade-off is less individual time and less control over the session plan.
Compare the practical details
Visit the space and ask how the service actually runs.
- Coach-to-client ratio
- How exercises are adapted
- Progress tracking
- Peak-time crowding
- Booking and cancellation rules
- Total monthly cost
Use the format you will attend
A theoretically perfect programme has no value when the location or timetable makes it hard to use. Fitzrovia, Great Portland Street and Marylebone clients should compare the real journey, not only the brochure.
